Many beautiful floors are unsuspectingly hidden under carpet installed from years past. Or your existing floors may be in need of refinishing to remove worn in dirt, light surface scratches and small indentations. Refinishing floors can be done also to change the color scheme from natural tones, light honey tones to dark browns. Refinishing an older floor can make it look like a brand new one at a fraction of the cost of a new one!
Refinishing floors do require a little planning. The floors will be unavailable to any foot traffic and any furniture in the area would need to be removed. If the work involves food storage areas, precautions are needed to prevent food tainting from the finish materials.
